POLICIES
WITHDRAWAL POLICY AND PROCEDURE
Withdrawals must be in writing and submitted in person, by mail, or by fax. Withdrawals cannot be done verbally over the telephone or by email. Ceasing to attend does not constitute withdrawal. Upon receipt of the written withdrawal, any post-dated cheques not yet cashed will be returned or destroyed, and any pre-authorized credit card or debit information will be removed from our records. There are NO tuition refunds under any circumstances.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Private class rate: $70/hour. Drop in rate: $10-15/hour. All prices include GST. We are sorry, but there are NO tuition refunds under any circumstances. We do offer tuition credits, valid for 2 years and fully transferable. The full tuition is for 36 weeks with a minimum of 34 classes. Tuition is based on one class per week. Promenade Dance Academy Inc. reserves the right to make changes to the schedule as may be required, limit registrations, and class size. There are no classes on Thanksgiving Monday, Remembrance Day, Louis Riel Day, Easter weekend, or Victoria Day weekend. We close for Winter and Spring Break. NSF charge: $30.00.
TAX RECEIPT
A copy of the registration form will be given to the parent/guardian as a tax receipt for the Child Fitness Tax Credit. Please retain this copy - should you require a reprint, there will be a $20.00 fee. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to determine whither or not the portion paid is eligible for tax credits. Should the participant withdraw from class the payments will no longer be eligible.
REGISTRATION FEE
A $25 registration fee is applicable, non-refundable, and non-transferable to the Pre-school, Dance for Kids, Gymnastics, and Dance for Adults programs. Family/multiple class discount is applicable to these programs inclusively. There is no registration fee for the Deux Pas and Pilates/Fitness programs.
YEAR-END CELEBRATION RECITAL
All students are invited and encouraged to participate in the annual recital. Students who choose to participate will be required to purchase a costume from our designated suppliers at prices ranging from $65 - $90 plus applicable taxes. A costume deposit of $40 will be required in January 2012 with the balance due April 2012. Adult class costumes will be less than $50 plus applicable taxes.
